SIGGRAPH 2024, in Denver, CO, was a success for our group, given I was able to host not one but two presentations for CG&ARP. The first was a Birds-of-a-Feather session, and the second was a workshop for the student volunteers. Already, several students have expressed interest in joining our projects teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One change with respect to undergraduate student participation is that in order to work on a project team a student must also be doing the work to satisfy part of their degree. For example, CG&ARP project work could be used to satisfy part of an existing course (think extra credit) or perhaps as an independent study.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Lastly, the first online, full CG&ARP meeting for the Fall will be Friday, September 20, 2024, at 7:00 PM EDT. If you’re on our email list, you’ll be receiving a link for the session shortly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
